Visit Indonesia .
“Indonesia, where is it?”. First time I heard some of my classmates which are from Europe asking it, I was shocked. Totally tongue-tied. I thought Indonesia is quite famous among developing countries. I strongly believed that everyone in this earth does know where Indonesia is. Indonesia is the fourth largest country by population. Indonesia is the largest island country in this world. Indonesia has the largest Muslim population. and many more.
But, that day proved something to me. I was totally wrong. My opinion of Indonesia popularity was too naive. Some people still don’t know where Indonesia is although Indonesia is a member of G-20. I thought being a member of G-20 will increase the reputation of Indonesia. Unfortunately not successful yet! Were my friends wrong for pigeonholing one of the most beautiful countries? Definitely not. I didn’t blame them. Maybe my country has to take responsibility for it. As an Indonesian citizen, I was thinking, okay this is my responsibility and duty for promoting Indonesia. Yap, Visit Indonesia! a wonderful Indonesia. Indonesia has more than 17,00 island for you to explore. Indonesia has about 240 million people for you to recognize (if you want to). Indonesia has a lot of traditional food that I guarantee you’ll love it. Indonesia has many beautiful places for you to visit such as Bali, Raja Ampat, Komodo Island, and so forth. Indonesia has a lot of tourist attraction across the country. So, if you want to go holiday during summer, why don’t you consider Indonesia as the most attractive choice? You can have sunbathing, surfing, and many more in Indonesia.
Visit Indonesia! I have suggested it to some of my friends and colleagues. Some went to Bali, Jakarta, and Yogyakarta, some still consider to visit Indonesia in the near future.
